I had the opportunity to go to GeorgiaTech with the ATLAS exchange program after my first year of Master’s studies at TUM. Being a graduate student at GaTech means studying in an international community with students from all over the world. That was a great experience for me that opens the mind for many different cultures. In my studies at GaTech I focused on robotics research, which resulted in two scientific publications for me. Thereby I learned a lot about scientific work as well as academic life in different countries and got involved in an international research community. Despite a busy life at university, I managed to travel with friends a lot around the U.S. and Canada, being most fascinated by the great nature in the state and national parks.
After finishing my Master’s degree in the U.S., I went to Trento, Italy for an interesting three months research project. It was exciting to experience the different way of life there, I made many new friends and had a wonderful time in the middle of mountains and lakes.
Right now, I’ve started my Master’s thesis back at TUM as the last part of the ATLAS program.
