Andrea Dalla Valle

I'm Andrea Dalla Valle. I've applied to the Atlantis Program almost 2 years ago, in December 2008. Since then, I've been studying in my home Institution (University of Trento) for the first two semesters (Fall 2008 - Spring 2009) and at Georgiatech, during the last academic year (Fall 2009 - Spring 2010). I got a MS in Computer Science at Georgiatech, and now I'm currently working on my MS Thesis in Trento, where I plan to graduate by March 2011. In addition, I've spent a period in Germany, at TUM, where I've completed a small research project. The overall experience has been fully satisfactory. Having a chance to meet so many people from different cultures, with different background, traveling around the US and Europe has been both exciting and enriching to me. Prior to this experience, I had never traveled abroad, but - most of all - I had never experienced how important it is being able to confrontate yourself with new - sometimes unforeseen - challenges. Right now, the work on the Thesis is basically taking all my time, but I've started taking a look to the job positions that are available out there. There are still some chances I'll proceed working in the Academia, though.
