Alessio Guerrieri

Studying at Georgia Tech was an enlightening experience. I found out how hard I am able to work when under pressure, I experienced a completely different way of teaching and I was able to follow many interesting courses that were not offered in my home university. I could write for hours about the experience of studying in the States, but I would prefer writing about living in the states, so these are my top 5 outside class experiences:
5) Drink refills everywhere
4) Visiting New York and being stuck there a few more days because of snow
3) Visiting DragonCon (a very very big science fiction convention)
2) Going to live sport events (in my case football, baseball, hockey, basketball, volleyball and lacrosse)
1) Meeting people from around the world (and, in some rare cases, even from the United States themselves!) and learning to recognize so many different accents of the English language.

Now I am working on my Master Thesis and I plan to enroll in the PhD program in Trento the next year.
