Christopher Valenta

My year abroad at the Politecnico di Torino was an extremely valuable experience. It provided me insights into not only Italian lifestyle and culture, but also of the many different nationalities I met during my time there. I was able to complete valuable research as part of my master's thesis and become immersed in an Italian research laboratory. Before coming to Italy, I had no previous experience with Italian. However, I am now comfortable in conversing with my Italian friends and was able to travel much of Italy using only Italian. Torino is great host city full of great sport, art, food, and people. I feel fortunate to have spent my study abroad there and look forward to returning to Italy and Torino some time soon!
